We are currently seeking a Technical Supplier Manager (f/m/d). We offer the following location/s: München, Essen 

 

A job that inspires

  • Market  Research and Pricing Intelligence: Conduct review of international supplier landscape and develop deep understanding of market prices for heat pumps

  • Strategic Supplier Partnerships: Develop and nurture long-term, strategic partnerships with suppliers of hardware assets, including heat pumps and make critical decisions related to supplier selection, technical assessments, and the establishment of strategic partnerships

  • Technical Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of hardware products and technical aspects to assess supplier capabilities and ensure alignment with FEH requirements

  • OEM Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with OEMs to gain early insights into their product roadmaps and upcoming innovations

  • Product Roadmap Insights: Leverage relationships with suppliers to gain early access to OEM product roadmaps, providing valuable insights for Portfolio / Category Management

  • Contract Negotiations and Commercial Support: Support contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring that technical specifications, quality standards, and product roadmaps are clearly defined and aligned and provide commercial support (e.g., price revision clauses)

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in technical aspects of supplier relationships, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements in hardware products

 

 

A convincing background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field, such as electrical engineering or related disciplines

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in supplier management, technical procurement, or a related technical field. In addition in-depth knowledge of heat pumps

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and understand complex technical specifications

  • Previous experience in collaborating with OEMs and building relationships with technical teams. Also strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English and German; additional European languages are advantageous

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align technical aspects with overall business goals. Also results-driven with a focus on achieving strategic technical procurement goals

  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and industry trends. In addition problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
