Your responsibilities

  • As Senior Project Developer CCS/CCU (f/m/d) you lead the development of CCS/CCU projects, encompassing technical descriptions, technology overview, business models, costs and revenue modeling, and preparation of cases for C-suite review and approval
  • You interface with Capture Onsite, CO2 Logistics and Storage, and Project Development Teams to ensure projects mature in alignment with value-adding market trends across the value chain
  • You closely manage allocated projects and ensure their delivery with technical and commercial excellence
  • You identify commercial risks and recommend mitigating measures, maintaining continuous communication with the project risk manager
  • You provide accurate and reliable financial advice to project teams throughout all project phases, including feasibility studies, design development, and implementation
  • You lead the dissemination of project learning, ensuring lessons are captured and disseminated in a structured manner. Additionally, you conduct Return of Experience (REX) workshops after each major project milestone
  • You have oversight and manage contractual relationships with onsite stakeholders and suppliers (land, utilities, feedstock, etc.)

 

Your profile

  • University degree in engineering, energy economics, economics with a strong technical background
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project development in the energy industry; knowledge of CCS/CCUS is beneficial
  • Technical leadership in project development, project scoping and project evaluations
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary environments and in multi-stakeholder projects
  • Project development background in power generation, Oil & Gas, chemical industries or similar
  • Experience in developing compelling project proposals and decision gate papers
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and contracts with budgetary oversight
  • Written and spoken English fluency is essential; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Availability for short business trips in Europe to meet customers and other stakeholders
