Purpose of the role

As Port / Terminal Manager Commercial (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in supporting our CO2 development projects and optimizing logistics operations, particularly in port and terminal operations for carbon transport. Your responsibilities include the commercial and operational management of port and tanking contracts, overseeing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) regulations, and managing port operations. Additionally, you will actively contribute to stakeholder management, collaborating closely with partners and vendors to pool, share, bundle, and optimize capacities.

 

Responsibilities

  • You manage and optimize port & tanking contracts, negotiating for favorable terms
  • You ensure compliance with HSSE regulations, fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship
  • You oversee CO2 port operations, cargo handling, stock management, and replenishment
  • You collaborate on implementing terminal automation systems for enhanced productivity and reduced errors
  • You serve as a key liaison between the company and stakeholders, building positive relationships
  • You identify opportunities for capacity pooling, sharing, and bundling with partners for resource optimization and cost savings
  • You define and monitor KPIs to evaluate logistics effectiveness, implementing necessary improvements

 

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus
  • Extensive experience (minimum 7 years) in tanking, fuel, port operations, preferably from CCUS, hydrogen, LNG, oil & gas, industrial gases industry
  • Knowledge of HSSE regulations
  • Proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Excellent command of English language is a must
