Our Senior Backend Developer (f/m/d) (Digital Solutions I Future Energy Home) develops and operates software to manage home energy devices such as photovoltaic, inverters, batteries, EV charging wall boxes, heat pumps and meters as a cloud-based solution for our central and local units so they can rollout those solutions to the end-customers. We integrate with numerous vendors' devices and apply centralized insights, analytics and control mechanisms for these devices.

meaningful & challenging - Your tasks

• Backend Software Development for our Future Energy Home product portfolio using Typescript & NodeJS based on AWS cloud 
• Analyzing third party APIs, map data models and data concepts to our models for a proper integration
• Collaboration with solution architects, developers and other stakeholders to deliver the best experience to our end customers
• Ensuring clean code and clean architectures and identify, communicate, plan and perform refactoring to advance the product
• Staying up to date with the latest developments in software technologies and frameworks as well as sharing and discussing ideas in “Community of Practice”

authentic & ambitious - Your profile

• Multiple years of experience in Typescript and the NodeJS/npm ecosystem, optionally React / React Native 
• Experience for cloud-native software design and familiarity with common web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs, JSON etc.) 
• Profound experience in AWS cloud technologies utilizing serverless services (e.g. Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, …) 
• Proven track record in utilizing DevOps tooling (e.g. GitLab, SonarQube, Cloudformation or Terraform or CDK)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor and coach other developers
• Fluent in English
