Our Solution Development department within the IT function of E.ON in Würzburg, Hannover, Essen, Berlin or Hamburg is looking for a 

Scrum Master (f/m/d) 

Your tasks

  • You are part of digital development projects and ensure the guidance of the team and organisation on how to use agile/scrum practices and values to delight our customers and achieve best possible satisfaction
  • You create a basis for understanding and applying extreme programming practices where problems can be raised with an emphasis of healing and problem solving
  • You promote self-organization of teams, to achieve a collaborative team, that is consensus driven, committed to team success and problem-solving
  • You are a hands-on coach, able to take the Scrum Master role within Scrum teams
  • You are collaborating closely with architects, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure modern and agile application development
  • You facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution as well as getting the work done without coercion, assigning or dictating the work
  • You are supporting and educating the product owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
  • You cooperate with Scrum teams and management for the whole company to fully understand, live and breath according to agile principles

Your profile

  • Good experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices and theory
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques as well as further agile approaches: SAFe, LeSS, XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual with previous experience as a team lead
  • Scrum Master certification is a plus
