Your responsibilities

  • As part of the EIS Growth Countries team, the role holder will play a critical role in supporting the EIS Sales and Business Development teams in the Growth Countries
  • Following the strategic priorities set by the Head of EIS Growth Countries and the EIS Global Board, the role holder will drive and enable growth projects in the EIS growth countries
  • Identify attractive value pools and optimize portfolio based on customer insights and market dynamics (customer segments, MEP, competitor analysis, trends, ...)
  • Create feasible commercial models including funding 
  • Foster product & business model development (incl. modularization)
  • Manage end-to-end perspective incl. involvement of relevant resources (e.g., tech skills for solution dev.)
  • Support application of Energy Efficiency and Decarbonisation solutions; Push development of City Quarter Solutions in GM
  • Share sales pipeline with supply chain function early, to ensure smooth procurement processes
  • Work together with Central EIS Marketing team to develop the brand in CEE markets and distribute global communication guidelines and material
  • Governing KPI´s:  CP; Portfolio diversity in Groth Markets; Quantity and quality of implemented Business Models; Development and Commercialization of innovative EnergyEfficiency and Green Technologies

 

Your qualifications

  • The role holder will have a broad project and business development background, with prior experience in innovation, project development or design  roles relating Energy Solutions  or similar businesses.  This experience can come from a commercial or technical and/or sales background – but it is critical that the role holder is able to demonstrate operative business development experience, preferably with first managerial experience from leading project teams
  • ·International experience working in EIS Growth Countries will be a significant advantage in this role, as will knowledge of local markets, commercial and regulatory landscapes that provide a necessary growth platform within growth regions.  
  • ·A hands-on approach will be required, as the role holder will be working in teams where experience and capability gaps will exist, as such the ability to multi-task  and work in unclear structures and undertake a broad range of business development tasks is key and experience taking nascent businesses through development and growth is highly valued. 
  • Specific Skills- Project design and Development skills, as well as project management experience (e.g. Scrum/Agile), high levels of commerciality, and understanding of business models, technologies and digital solutions combined with a creative and entrepreneurial mind set extremely high levels of Customer orientation. 
  • ·Extremely strong interpersonal skills as well as the clear demonstration of leadership competencies are required – this requires a flexible engagement style that can be tailored to effectively engage with Customers, local and central teams and managers and stakeholders throughout E.ON – the ability to engage with credibility with dynamic entrepreneurial teams, as well as established local and central management is key
  • ·Strong analytical capabilities combined an entrepreneurial mindset and a results-oriented problem solving mentality– proven by tangible examples of delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environment
  • ·English language, but Growth Country languages skills will be highly valuable in this role.
  • ·Given the nature of this role, a significant proportion of  time will be spent imbedded in local projects, as such considerable travel (circa 40%) will be expected.
