About the team 

The Data Architecture & Management Team is a diverse team which is located across Europe but mainly in Germany. The team is defining the Global Data Architecture guidelines and principles and is responsible for the Data Management topics including Data Quality.

 

meaningful & challenging - Your tasks 

  • Data Quality Assessment: Aid the Business units to help them conduct assessments of data quality across various data sources. Conduct periodic audits of critical data sources to verify data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Data Profiling: Utilise data profiling tools to analyse and document data source structures, data relationships, and patterns, aiding in the identification of potential data quality issues
  • Data Validation: Develop and execute data validation rules and scripts to ensure incoming data meets defined quality standards
  • Data Cleansing and Enhancement: Develop and execute data cleansing strategies to rectify inaccuracies and inconsistencies in the data
  • Process Improvement: Help business units to identify root causes of data quality issues and recommend process improvements to prevent recurrence
  • Data Governance: Assist in defining and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures related to data quality
  • Quality Metrics: Define and monitor data quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure adherence to data quality goals
  • Training and Awareness: Provide training sessions and resources to educate stakeholders on data quality best practices, emphasising the importance of maintaining accurate and reliable data

 

authentic & ambitious - Your profile 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, data science, or a related field as well as proven experience in data quality roles using tools like Talend, Informatica, DQLabs etc.
  • Proven experience in implementing data profiling techniques and data cleansing methodologies, as well as integrating Data catalog & Data Quality concepts for implementation of Data Governance use cases
  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation and quality assessment
  • Experience with data visualisation tools for presenting data quality metrics and insights in business-friendly dashboards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Team player (f/m/d) who can collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability to changing requirements and evolving data landscapes.
