Data Migration Architect - Expert Services (f/m/d)

As a Data Migration Architect (f/m/d) you will join one of E.ON’s Digital Technology initiatives. This means becoming a key member of a skilled team of Data Migration Experts who will lead, shape, transform and digitize our E.ON businesses across Europe.

What you are responsible for

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects, incl. planning, reporting, requirements- and stakeholder management, ensuring seamless and efficient transfer of data
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data migration requirements and business objectives
• Develop and implement data migration strategies, considering data quality, security, and compliance
• Design and optimize data migration processes to achieve optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, database administrators, and business analysts
• Perform data profiling, cleansing and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Create and maintain documentation related to data migration processes, methodologies, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues, collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions
• Share your experience and knowledge across the entire Lifecycle, train teams and share your knowledge for a better together

What you are good at

• Proven experience as a Data Migration Architect or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Strong expertise in data profiling, cleansing, and validation
• Proficient in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
• Experience in mass data migration from one to another system e.g. SAP, Salesforce, etc.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Excellent English and good German (at least B1) communication skills (written & spoken)
• Willingness to travel across Europe
