Our Senior Data / MLOps Engineer (f/m/d) (Digital Solutions I Future Energy Home) develops and operates software to manage home energy devices such as photovoltaic, inverters, batteries, EV charging wall boxes, heat pumps and meters as a cloud-based solution for our central and local units so they can rollout those solutions to the end-customers. We integrate with numerous vendors' devices and apply centralized insights, analytics and control mechanisms for these devices.

meaningful & challenging - Your tasks

• Develop and optimize machine learning models using AWS SageMaker and other services
• Implement and deploy machine learning infrastructure on AWS in staged environments by automating deployment pipelines with tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
• Manage large datasets on AWS S3, ensuring data quality and integrate data pipelines with AWS Glue and Athena for efficient ETL processes and querying
• Develop services in Python and/or Typescript for data processing and transformation
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations by implementing security best practices on AWS (e.g. IAM policies)

authentic & ambitious - Your profile

• Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis and data manipulation techniques, coupled with experience in model development and evaluation using common libraries and frameworks like scikit-learn, tensorflow or pytorch
• Strong understanding and practical experience with AWS services relevant to machine learning such as Amazon SageMaker, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS Step Function and AWS S3 for data storage and processing
• Proficiency in using infrastructure-as-code tools and strong skills in data engineering, including data preprocessing, feature engineering and ETL processes 
• Strong development background in Python
• Fluent in English
