We are looking for a (Senior) Data/Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) Analytics & AI - Expert Services to join our E.ON Digital Technology GmbH team.

What you are responsible for  

• You team-up with our scientists, business and infrastructure experts to design data solutions that have global impact and scale to all E.ON countries
• You build and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines that ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability
• You stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our data pipelines
• You ensure high quality and stability through agile processes and peer code reviews
• You share your ideas and convince to go new ways

What you are good at   

• You should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• You should have at least 2 years of experience in data engineering, at least 5 for a senior position
• You have good or excellent knowledge with Microsoft Azure
• You have a good understanding and knowledge of Python programming language, its concepts, and its associated frameworks
• You have experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• You should have experience with software development best practices, including version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD), monitoring, automation, and testing
• You should have experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Code as well as building secure cloud architectures
• Ideally you have experience working with data lakes and its concepts
• Ideally you have a strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization is a plus
• Finished Azure Certifications are a plus
• Ideally you have already experience with machine learning (data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, model selection)
• Excellent writing and communication skills, considering varying levels of precision and matching the audience
• Fluent in English; German language skills are seen as a plus
