The Service Operations & Integration Team ensures IT services are delivered, making sure the quality and adherence to process is adhered to for all service providers to meet the business outcomes of E.ON UK.

Right now, we’re looking for a Service Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing that all services are delivered to the agreed service levels across a number of business areas.

You’ll be working in a complex multi supplier environment to deliver a stable service to our UK business, working alongside your colleagues in  Service Ops and Integration.

This role would suit someone with strong collaboration experience in dealing with service providers utilising standard ITIL based approach, problem management, incident management and an inquisitive mind around change management. Ideally someone who has moved around different areas in IT to bring that experience with them to the role.

What we need from you

  • Excellent technical knowledge of IT systems and services
  • IT Service operations experience in a multi-sourced environment
  • Understanding of ITIL, SIAM, ITSM experience and its application in the E.ON environment or a similar energy/retail business
  • Service design and transition experience
  • Industry knowledge and experience
  • Ability to work well with the internal teams, outsourced partners, operations and the business
  • Analytical Thinking, ability to interpret data, identify potential issues and present this in a way that facilitates effective decision making
  • Excellent communication skills, managing key stakeholders
  • Passion to meet and exceed all service operations KPI’s
  • Educated to A-Level or higher standard
