Salary: £42,287 - £53,990
Location: South

The role will be field based with regular travel to our Offices in Coventry for meetings with Senior Management

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Installation Services Team, at a pivotal time of growth and expansion, to play a key role in making life more comfortable for customers. We listen to what customers really want, we advise them on what's right for them and then we make it happen.

 

We are currently looking for Scheme Managers, to work collaboratively with the Business Development & Commercial Teams on delivering First Time Central Heating Programmes for Local Authority and Housing Association Clients throughout the UK.

 

The role will involve the following;

  • Main point of contact for Client in the delivery of a multi-disciplined Programme, ensuring that a healthy, mutually beneficial and continuing relationship is nurtured.
  • Management of the Health and Safety, particularly in relation to CDM Regulations 2019.
  • Management of Scheme Programmes through effective utilisation of Internal Resource and Sub-Contractors.
  • Effective reporting to Internal Stakeholders on issues experienced on your Programmes and leading on the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Ensuring that an excellent standard of installation is delivered by our contractors every time via implementation of thorough Quality and Compliance inspection processes.
  • Management of ECO Compliance, ensuring that contractors E.ON are able to take advantage of the available funding.

 

This is a real varied role, you could be co-ordinating Gas Audits one day to working with Local Authorities the next.

What we need from you

  • Whilst it is not critical, the ideal candidate will possess in date Domestic ACS Certification  (CCN1 CENWAT HTR1 CKR1).
  • IOSH / NEBOSH Qualification is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety at work Act 1974 and Management of Health and Safety At Work 1999 (NEBOSH/IOSH Qualifications or equivalent).
  • Proven/Demonstrable experience of delivering Insulation and Gas Heating/Renewable Technology Solutions, in the form of Project Management from inception through to hand over.
  • Extensive knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and the application of this (including understanding and undertaking nominated roles within the Regulations).
  • Extensive Knowledge of Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure and corrective action process.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Gas Industry (Installation & Use) Regulations- amendment 2018.
  • Ability to interpret specifications/pre-contract information, ensuring that gas compliance.
  • Proficient with report writing- including the ability to analyse market/regulatory trends, and communicate these to colleagues including the senior leadership team.
  • Previous experience of dealing with Audits (Gas Safe/ISO etc.), including taking the lead on preparation and completion of outstanding actions post audit.
  • Previous Line Management experience.

The role is to cover the South.


This is a permanent role.


Due to the nature of the roles a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check will be required.
