The Energy Networks Technology & Innovation team at E.ON SE is working closely with our Distribution Systems Operators (DSOs) and Digital Technology. We are looking for a Senior Expert Process Systems Energy Networks (f/m/d) who is a thought leader and professional by education and with experience to join our Digital & IT team.   • Transformation Process Systems: You are responsible to work with the DSOs, business initiatives and Digital Technology to drive Process Systems to accelerate our business transformation of Energy Networks

  • Process Systems Leadership & Development: You lead the definition, development, implementation and execution of Process Systems. You work with future and ongoing business transformations as well as continuous development of digital business platforms (also known as Rocks)

  • Team Leadership & Strategy Contribution: You are responsible for the respective Expert Team within the Leadership Team Energy Networks Digital & IT. You prepare and moderate the meetings jointly with PMO expert. You actively contribute with strategy, impulses, proposals jointly with other members of the Expert Team

  • Strategic Project Support & Cross-functional Team Management: You support strategic projects and manage cross-functional teams

  • Standardization & Optimization Decisions: You develop common decisions regarding standardization optimization together with the Leadership Team Digital & IT

  • Subject Matter Expert Representation: You represent Energy Networks business as a subject matter expert in internal and external meetings, presentations, and discussions on Digital & IT

A convincing background

  • You have an university degree in computer science or a related field, or you’ve gained equivalent knowledge through practical experience

  • With at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, you bring valuable expertise to the table; ideally you already gained some teamleading experience

  • Experience with IT applications relevant to the energy network sector – such as Rocks, digital solutions, IT operations, and IT infrastructure – is highly desirable

  • Strong problem-solving, research, and project management skills are part of your skill set

  • Your understanding of business processes enables you to support business strategies and find technical solutions to business challenges

  • Additionally, you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to convey technical information clearly and understandably

  • You have the ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate seamlessly with other departments

  • Knowledge of the European energy industry is preferred, giving you an edge in understanding the market dynamics

  • A passion for using digital technology to continuously improve efficiency, drive change, and foster innovation is key

  • Business fluency in both German and English enables you to interact effectively within the E.ON Group and all Distribution Systems Operations
