  • Join E.ON's Strategic Intelligence team, where you’ll have the opportunity to shape our strategic direction by delivering high-quality analysis of key external developments that influence E.ON's business.

  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to top executives, including board members and the CEO, based on actionable insights into energy markets, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes.

  • Contribute to key strategic decisions by providing insights that support business development, risk management, and corporate communications, and shape corporate positions on critical energy topics.

  • Strengthen and expand our knowledge base by overseeing and challenging the work of external analysis and intelligence providers, ensuring high-quality insights for decision-making.

  • Lead complex, high-impact projects, including managing top-tier consultants, and take ownership of content development, ensuring alignment with E.ON’s strategic objectives.

  • Foster strong working relationships across the E.ON group, promoting knowledge-sharing and cross-functional collaboration to enhance strategic insights.

A Convincing Background

  • A collaborativeand results-orientedprofessional with excellent analytical and numerical skills.

  • A proactive team player, capable of driving change with experience in leading and motivating project teams in a functional setup.

  • A university degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Strong expertise in energy market analysis, competitive intelligence, and energy policy assessment.

  • Experience in consultancy or intelligence roles, with proven skills in electricity market modeling (preferred but not mandatory).

  • A strong professional network within the energy sector.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with fluency in English (German proficiency is a plus).
