What you'll need to succeed
- An ongoing or completed Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, (Business) Informatics or a related field documents your outstanding academic performance
- You have already gained initial hands-on experience in the consulting and/or energy industry
- You are fluent in English and willing to learn German (at least B1 level)
- Tackling complex problems with real-world impact is something you are genuinely passionate about
- Your curiosity and drive to shape the transformation of the energy industry set you apart from others

How to apply for our vacancies?
At E.ON Inhouse Consulting, we are continuously seeking new talent who are eager to advance their careers and make a real impact with us. Our Recruiting Day, which includes 2-3 case study interviews, offers an excellent opportunity to explore our job vacancies and career opportunities. These interviews can be held on-site or virtually, depending on your availability and preference.

What does an Recruiting Day look like?
An Recruiting Day with us offers an in-depth look into your future career with us. The day consists of 2 to 3 interview rounds. We begin with a company presentation, followed by two case-based interviews with our senior management team. The day offers you the chance to get to know our team and find out more about your individual career opportunities. After the interviews, we are pleased to invite you to an informal lunch with our consultants who are not involved in the recruiting process. In the meantime, our interviewers will compile the results from the first round. If the morning was a success, we will invite you to a final interview. In this interview, two additional interviewers will take the time to reaffirm the positive impression from the first round and address any concerns, paving the way for the final decision. By the end of the day, we provide personal feedback, and successful candidates will receive a contract offer to join our team and start their career with us.

What to expect in the interviews?
Each interview provides a thorough evaluation of your career potential and fit for our job vacancies. The interview consists of three parts:
We will discuss your expertise, personal background, and what motivates you as a person. This helps us understand your career journey and qualifications for the role.
You will tackle a strategic case study to showcase your problem-solving skills.
Lastly, you’ll have the opportunity to ask us any questions about your potential future role, our career development opportunities, and what it's like working with us.

How to prepare for the interviews?
Our interview process is designed to understand your personal background and assess your problem-solving skills. To stand out as a strong candidate for our job vacancies, ensure you can clearly explain why you are the right fit for the role.
We highly recommend familiarizing yourself with solving case studies, as they play a key role in our interviews. You can also use the interactive case study platform, PrepLounge, to practice and refine your skills.
In addition, with an invitation to the interviews, you will have the opportunity to take part in our webinar.
