What we offer
As part of our E.ON International Graduate Program you will have the opportunity to discover and drive the E.ON Group with focus on General Business during 24 months. You can look forward to:

What you can expect from us
Our E.ON International Graduate Program offers opportunities for graduates to make an impact on the sustainable energy landscape and to put theoretical knowledge to practice. Graduates with a wide range of academic backgrounds, from business administration to engineering, are needed for the energy transition. You will gain experience in different business areas and have the chance to develop along your personal interests.
During the program, you’ll have the chance to work in different cross-functional placements (e.g. Energy Networks, Strategy, Energy Solutions, Marketing & Brand, Energy Trading, Sustainability, Innovation, Digital Transformation, Finance)
Besides, you’ll complete at least one international placement
Moreover, we offer you the opportunity to gain global insights into E.ON’s business across Europe (e.g. Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Romania, Croatia, United Kingdom)
What we expect from you
You have an above average Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant working experience or a respective Master’s degree
Enthusiasm for solving energy industry issues on an international scale characterizes you
You are fluent in English and willing to learn German
Ideally you have gained international experience staying abroad in the form of exchange semesters, internships, or volunteer work
You appreciate working in diverse teams, demonstrating an open and inclusive mindset
You can contribute with with the ability to build meaningful and strong relationships with relevant interfaces and strong networking skills
Strong solution- and customer-oriented thinking with excellent logical skills is what we are looking for to develop even further with you
An already existing residence and work permit for Germany are not necessarily required.

Application process
1. Online application
Your online application is the first step in the process. Please create a profile to submit your application including the necessary attachments. You will receive feedback whether we can consider you for the next selection step within one week.*

2. Psychometric test
In the next step, we will invite you to take an online psychometric test. You will have one week to complete it. We will then get back to you within a week.
3. Get-to-know-you interview
We look forward to getting to know you better in a short Get-to-know-you interview where we share more details about the programme with you and answer any questions you may have. The Get-to-know-you interview takes place about four weeks after you receive feedback on the psychometric test.
4. Assessment and engagement event
At these virtual one-day events, we look forward to gaining further insights into your personality and skills. In turn, you will have the opportunity to get to know E.ON, the programme, and possible areas of work better. The event takes place about two to four weeks after the Get-to-know-you interview and is the final step in the application process.

5. Job offer and contract
Ready to be a playmaker – Congratulations and welcome aboard! You will receive a job offer on the day of your assessment and engagement event.

Attractive salary
During your 24-month trainee period, you will receive a gross salary of €58,070 per year. At the end of your trainee period, you will have a permanent employment contract. You can then negotiate the exact amount of your salary with your future department.
