We are progressive and brave, while also being impactful and reliable. If you have passion and believe in the power of working together, then E.ON is the place for you.

About the position
As cloud platform owner you will:

  • Initially, work closely with our cloud team (currently 8 members) in a coaching and supportive role embedding our new cloud operating model, alongside the current team lead.
  • Gradually, take ownership of the team’s backlog and roadmap, driving the team’s work to ensure our cloud platform supports our product teams and adds value to our business.
  • Ultimately, assume accountability for the delivery and operation of cloud shared services at E.ON in the Nordic region and take over management of the cloud team.
  • Develop and explicitly communicate an E.ON Nordic cloud vision, goals and roadmap in line with, overall business objectives and with E.ON’s group standards for cloud.
  • Lead and ensure the delivery of our cloud-based shared services, including infrastructure, platforms, and software services, aligned with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with and oversee our partners and vendors, ensuring they meet delivery expectations, handle patching and updates, and maintain optimal system performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our Nordic business units (application teams, E.ON central IT, Operational Technology, and business teams) regarding cloud technology.

Are you ready to lead and shape the future of our cloud journey? As our cloud platform owner you will take on the leading role in our cloud team and be part of an exciting transformation.

Your Experiences
To succeed in this role, we believe you need:

  • Solid experience in cloud technologies (Azure or similar), ideally with a background as a cloud architect, cloud engineer, or in a role involving vendor management and service delivery.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud services (e.g., Azure) and a strong technical foundation, with knowledge of setting up and managing cloud environments and hosting.
  • Experience managing roadmaps and backlogs, with the ability to work both strategically and hands-on to drive development and deliveries forward.
  • A track record of leading and distributing work, preferably in an agile environment, with a coaching and supportive leadership style.

As a person you listen actively, engage smoothly in dialogues and act as a bridge between development teams, partners, cloud providers and other product/platform owners. You excel at building and maintaining relationships, both internally and externally with an understanding of business needs.
