Lead Software Engineer - Energy Markets Data Solutions (f/m/d)

Job description

Responsibilities

- Take lead in technology product development, maintenance and operations within large scale, group wide transformation programs
- Collaborate closely with business users from Front, Risk and Back office to translate business use cases to IT requirements by means of design specifications and technical deliveries
- Develop technical interface solutions by hands-on development to fulfill business needs - Communicate and collaborate with business and technical solution team members as well as other areas on digitalization and automation
- Liaise with onsite and offshore teams for integration development and efficient solution delivery
- Coordinate solution delivery alongside agile sprints and over the full life cycle
- Streamline data flows across various projects to improve technical and operational efficiency
- Quality assurance of delivery, test preparation and execution including UAT support and operational enablement
- Engage in operational excellence to foster post go live and production efficiency

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a Senior IT consultant role
- Minimun 5 years experience in a similar role
- Good domain knowledge in an Energy Trading environment and applications like Trading and portfolio managmeent systems as well as their related information flows & data - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Good knowledge of streaming and interfacing tools & methodologies Kafka, Spring, Python, Azure Microservices and Middleware
- Collaborative attitude and ability to communicate with diverse Stakeholders
- Enthusiastic to train and upskill internal and external staff
- Very good inter-personal and verbal/written English communication skills (Chairing meetings, facilitating workshops, preparing and sharing outcomes)
