Our Development UK & Italy department within E.ON Energy Projects (EPP) in Munich is looking for a 

Project Manager - Project Development Industrial CHP (m/f/d) 

Your Responsibility

  • Project Management of complex investment projects in the area industrial energy solutions/ CO2 emission reduction/ next generation onsite energy supply
  • Concept design and continuous evaluation of technical, commercial and regulatory feasibility based on simulation tools and business case calculation/ financial modelling
  • Lead of multi-disciplinary expert teams including i.e. technical, commercial, legal and digital experts
  • Heading offer and contract negotiations for all relevant project contracts and preparation of investment decision proposals within the team and to the management levels
  • Determine time schedule, milestones, project organization and budget requirements for project development and implementation, incl. budget responsibility until financial closing
  • Business development and support of EEP strategic growth initiatives, i.e. drive new innovative & digital solutions like iQ CHP – the intelligent power plant
  • Coordination of risk analysis and assessment; definition of risk mitigation strategy
  • Setting up successful working level cooperation within E.ON Group
  • Focus Region: Europe; i.e. Germany, U.K., Italy, Benelux

Your Profile

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, energy economics, business administration or economics with a strong technical background
  • Profound experience in the field of development and/or implementation of power plant projects in an international environment
  • Ability to connect technical with commercial and legal aspects of the projects, ability to manage the internal and external interfaces of a project
  • Highly developed communication & interpersonal skills to establish effective cross-functional and cross-cultural working relationships
  • Ability to work independently, willingness to take initiative, and high level of commitment
  • Enjoy working in an international environment
  • Flexibility and mobility
