  • Innovate with Cutting-Edge Technology: Craft comprehensive solutions from start to finish using MS Azure and Python, collaborating with risk quants to develop robust, scalable models. Your work will significantly reduce time to market and amplify commercial impact.
  • Architect and Optimize Cloud Infrastructure: Take charge of our MS Azure cloud infrastructure, data, and deployment pipelines. Your efforts will ensure our setup remains state-of-the-art, embodying best practices and excellence across the value chain.
  • Advance Quantitative Risk Modeling: Play a crucial role in developing and enhancing quantitative risk models for our energy trading portfolios. Utilize advanced statistical, mathematical techniques, and modern cloud computing technologies to drive precision and effectiveness.
  • Develop Essential Tools and Applications: Create APIs and ETL pipelines, enriching our models with vital market and portfolio data. Further, you will enhance our Streamlit landing page, integrating comprehensive data access, visualizations, and model interactions.
  • Lead Digital Transformation Initiatives: Be at the forefront of our digital evolution, creating cloud-native risk management tools and applications with the latest technology. Your work will establish a scalable, high-performance platform.

 

Your profile

 

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Python Proficiency: Exceptional skills in Python, encompassing object-oriented programming, efficient software design, and performance computing techniques. Extensive experience with Python best practices and cloud solution development, particularly with MS Azure, is essential.
  • Cloud Expertise: Experience and strong interest in cloud solutions development with MS Azure, including infrastructure and pipeline setup, developing innovative solutions that are powerful, flexible, and easy to maintain.
  • Database Skills: Strong SQL abilities, with a preference for candidates with extensive Snowflake experience.
  • Industry Experience: Prior exposure to finance, energy trading, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Specialized Knowledge: A strong grasp of financial mathematics, energy markets, and trading principles is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Prowess: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Independent and Collaborative Spirit: A self-starter attitude with a proven track record of independent and collaborative work in a fast-paced setting.
