Your tasks

  • You will lead the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Corporate and Office function, which takes care of the Enterprise Architecture of the business area Corporate, as well as the group-wide Enterprise architecture frameworks
  • You are responsible for the definition and continuously improvement of applications and data target architectures and roadmaps for the business area Corporate as well as the Enterprise Architecture framework of E.ON
  • You act as a thought leader for a team of global enterprise architects as well as the product team for the Enterprise Architecture Management Platform LeanIX
  • You take accountability for the establishment and execution of the group-wide Enterprise architecture governance (e.g. Due Diligence, LAG, GAB) in very close collaboration with other Digital and Technology (DT) governance functions
  • Provide architectural consultancy to business and IT stakeholders to support the creation and update of the Corporate strategy and ensure the implementation of emerging technologies with highest value proposition for business and customers
  • Ensuring group-wide transparency on architecture and participation in relevant architectural governance bodies across all regions


Your profile

  • Strong educational background, preferably in Information Technology or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Multiple years of professional IT experience; including unit leadership or project management in an international environment with highly diverse teams distributed across several locations
  • Comprehensive experience in developing strategies, target architectures and roadmaps
  • Extensive experience in establishment of architectural frameworks and running architecture governance in a global setup
  • Profound knowledge about Corporate solutions like ERP, HR, or HSE solutions as well as considerable knowledge about trends and innovations in these areas
  • Experience in agile working methods as well as applying data driven practices
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including senior business stakeholders, that are based on trust, confidence and respect
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and practical solutions
  • Business and value focused attitude as well as very strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English, German is advantageous
  • Willing to undertake business travel
