Responsibilities

  • You support the further development of the overall data strategy

  • You define global data architecture standards and guidelines

  • You shape how data is persisted, managed, and utilized

  • You assure that data models are integrated into the Enterprise Data Model

  • You promote the reusability of building blocks in different initiatives

  • You support architects and other stakeholders to identify, classify, and analyze information requirements

  • You define metadata concepts and assure data integrity

  • You build the metadata repository to store data element definitions

  • You further enable data sharing by using a broker-based architecture combined with reusable services and a service-oriented approach

 

Qualifications

  • University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or in a comparable course of study

  • Several years of professional experience as a Data Architect 

  • Practical experience as Data Architect in agile and classic implementation projects

  • Experience in data analytics, data science, machine learning and/or AI

  • Profound knowledge of data warehouses (e.g. SAP BW4) and BI tools (e.g. PowerBI)

  • Experience with information models and standards for energy systems (e.g. CIM) and data models for core IT systems (e.g. GIS)

  • Excellent analytical skills and a very quick grasp

  • Independent way of working with high proactivity

  • Experience in working in international teams and willingness to travel

  • Fluent in English and preferably in German
