We are looking for a Digital Learning Data Analyst (Lead) (f/m/d) to join our E.ON Digital Technology GmbH team.


The Digital Technology (DT) functions provides IT and digital services to the whole E.ON Group. The DT function comprises business DT functions, which provide services specific to individual business units, as well as global functions, which provide services in the areas of strategy, enterprise architecture, cyber security, infrastructure, corporate and business applications data & analytics and digital empowerment to all parts of E.ON.

The newly established Digital Empowerment unit, reports directly into the Digital Board Resort. Digital technologies change the nature of work and the roles within. Key to success is to learn new digital skills, model new behaviors and constantly adapt to changes. This new unit aims to engage and activate all employees’ in their individual digital upskilling journey. More specifically, empowering employees to embrace digital change through a structured role-based digital upskilling approach encompassing the digital mindset, skill set and tool set. By engaging, personalized, bite-sized learning Digital Empowerment will build knowledge in key digital technologies (e.g. Analytics, AI, Blockchain, IoT, Cloud, Cyber Security) and / or practices (e.g. Design Thinking, Agility, Data-based decisioning, Growth Mindset).



  • You are an experienced data analyst who will own and manage our group wide learning data
  • You will be contributing to the set-up of the Digital Empowerment data team incl. the identification of initial high impact data mining and date insight projects
  • You will influence and contribute to an improved data-driven approach to group wide learning at scale as well as a personalized learning user/employee experience
  • You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on themes ranging from digital learning content creation to international engagement and activation
  • You will inform and engage your colleagues working on digital learning product and service design with data insights in order to continuously improve the overall user/learning experience
  • You will be solving our groupwide skill gap challenges by specifying, developing, designing and implementing fit for purpose data models and algorithms helping to make learning measurable and steerable



  • Masters Degree in Data Science/Mathematics /Information Technology or similar
  • Several years experience as a Data Analyst/Data Scientist incl. data modeling and data mining
  • Excellent command of English and German
  • Excellent skills in: Power BI, Office 365, MS Teams and Miro
  • Advanced expertise in dealing with complex data sets from multiple sources
  • Proven track record in translating data into meaningful key messages aimed at various stakeholders
  • Full project management life cycle expertise (waterfall and agile)
  • Excellent collaborator and not afraid to challenge status quo as well as hierarchy
  • Able to work independently in a hybrid set up and navigate your way through a decentral international matrix organization
  • Moreover, you have a genuine interest in and passion for technology and the energy transition
