Job description

As Head of Digital Program Delivery (f/m/d) you are responsible for developing and coaching a team of PM / PMO professionals / consultants, managing our E.ON internal accounts in terms of engagements delivered for those accounts as well the pipeline of future engagements, and delivering on projects you are directly accountable for.
You interact with senior (C-Level) stakeholders and will be driving the implementation of E.ON's largest digital transformation programs to empower us on our way towards a digital-first energy company.

What you are responsible for

  • Leading a team of PM / PMO professionals / consultants
  • Responsible for developing and shaping our PM / PMO community and methodology
  • Driving our largest and most important Digital Technology growth and efficiency programs; aiming to drive digitization cross-regionally and cross-functionally and turning E.ON into a digital-first energy company
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders at board and supervisory board level to ensure buy-in
  • Taking over a leading role in building our Expert Services practice in Germany and our regional organizations engaging in people and business development, capability building, and recruiting
  • Building trusted relationships with existing and new clients to understand their needs and tailor our offers to meet their current challenges

What you are good at

  • Completed university degree in Business, IT or a related field
  • Experienced in building and running a practice; including capability and people development
  • Broad experience leading complex digital technology programs; including (multi-)project management, design, development, testing, rollout and operations
  • Strong consulting skills from strategic thinking and problem-solving to effective communication and strong sense of customer-orientation to deep organization and planning skills
  • Broad technology knowledge and functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: Business Transformation, Change Management, Digital Service & Platform Development, Rollout & Industrialization
  • Proven track record in leading delivery teams across multiple locations and vendors and managing external partners to successfully achieve the required outcomes in dynamic environments
  • You are fluent in English and have very good German language skills
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of the energy sector and the grid business
